Rash Resistant
The chemicals found in disposable diapers have also been linked by many parents and natural baby product advocates with severe and chronic cases of rashes. When I created FuzziBunz they were meant to be a solution to my own son's constant rashes because absolutely nothing else worked. Cloth diapers keep chemicals off your baby instead of soaking in them, and they eliminate the need for using goopy and messy creams that can sometimes make a rash even worse. Plus, you can choose environmentally-friendly detergents to wash your diapers in that are also free of chemicals, dyes and perfumes that may irritate your baby's sensitive skin.

Give Disposables a Vacation this Summer
By following these simple tips you can take your FuzziBunz with you without any extra hassle or fuss and avoid experiencing a hotel room with a trash can full of stinky disposables.
First, if you are staying longer than a weekend at your destination call ahead and make sure they have washers and dryers on-site so you can do a quick load of diapers. You'll want to invest in and In and Out Mess Free Diaper Tote as well so you have a leak-proof destination for convenient storage of dirty diapers. But, be sure to pack enough diapers for at least two days so you can enjoy your vacation, not spend it doing laundry!
Second, make sure that you wash your diapers before leaving the hotel. No one wants to spend a car ride home with the aroma of dirty diapers permeating the car, and opening a suitcase after a flight to foul odor could be a nasty surprise.
Don't be afraid to take your little one to the beach or in the pool in their FuzziBunz. By traveling with your cloth diapers, you avoid the need of double packing. Gone are the days of toting around regular disposables and swimmers, FuzziBunz also function as a swim diaper. You're baby won't have a saggy diaper full of water dragging them down in the sand, instead their buns will be covered in the same fashionable and comfy diaper they're already used too. You won't have to worry about an irritating rash at the end of a long day of fun-in-the-sun either.
If your travel destination does not provide you with access to washers, or if you plan on packing disposables for backup if you run out of your FuzziBunz be sure to choose an environmentally-friendly diaper such as Seventh Generation or a similar brand.

The Cloth Diaper Whisperer on FB Accessories
When our manufacturing took a turn for the smaller - the manufacturer could not keep up with diaper demand let alone add our accessory line back. However...now with a new ROCKIN factory that can do what we want them to do in the capacity that we need them done in....our accessories are BACK and better than ever!
Take a look at what Kelly Wels of The Cloth Diaper Whisperer had to say

Abuse is never OK
However, after today's comments, I have decided to take down the very abusive post that were made to my last blogs due to the fact that it is just not ok to abuse someone else - ever! In the adult world, if someone has such a severe issue with someone else they would confront them personally and hopefully respectfully. But some people would rather hide behind screen names and "hidden" emails to attack other people for their own sick gratification. That is the act of a true coward. And what is worse - having other people do your dirty work for you so you are not directly responsible and legally implicated is spineless.
Unfortunately certain groups of woman have decided to use my blog to abuse me on a personal level and post libelous information because they believe what they have been told by someone else. Which I can personally attest are all lies and assumptions of the truth.
One even went as far as to call me a "WHORE" Now that is taking it a bit too far. These are personal attacks. And I am a real living breathing human - regardless of what someone may think of me.
I am sure these people feel their freedom of speech is warranted - however abuse is not and I will not tolerate it. And that is what they have done by posting these hateful comments directly to me on my blog. They have crossed the line of speaking their mind and voicing their opinion and engaged in abusing another person . I am not afraid to call it what it is. If it brought them any satisfaction to say the things that they did then they truly have my pity.
In the future, posts will be moderated. And I will not allow negativity to come accross this blog again. I will read all comments of course -

My Humble Beginnings
You know I often say “I am not all that and a bag of chips” and I truly mean it. After 10 years, I still am amazed when a customer gets me on the phone and goes on and on about how I have “changed their lives” with FuzziBunz and proceed to say they could “never do something like that”
I disagree. I am no big chip. And honestly – I really don’t think I did anything all that great. I loved my child! I had a precious baby that was suffering and I was determined to fix his problem. It was an exhausting process trying to find diapers that would not cause a rash and worse yet, find CLOTH diapers that did not require all of the old fashioned work involved in caring for them….and he still had a rash due to his wet skin.
I was a determined mom – to find a solution. It really did not take me long to figure out I needed a barrier between the wet diaper and his skin. What fabric would not retain moisture yet let wetness through? The miracle fiber of course….polyester! I had taken a textile course as well as sewing in college so I did have some knowledge of fibers. Fleece was a spongy fibrous material – I thought that would work well…. So I cut it up, put it in his diaper and WOW his skin stayed dry. Rash went away. I was on to something.
Now…I guess I am inventor / entrepreneur at heart because I immediately got to work at creating this miracle diaper that would fix his rash and have all of the easy wash / easy clean / stain free wonder properties of the polyester power hour…yep that fiber from the disco era itself. Made into a nice, cozy, soft and FUZZI fabric that made my little angel well again.
Long story short – came up with a great concept using a brand new fabric that PERFORMED and functioned the way it should. The pocket came to be because I could not justify sewing 6 layers of absorbent material together, sewing on a waterproof layer AND having a stay dry layer next to the skin. I once tested this “cleaning ability” with a prototype that was all sewn together….I made “fake poo” with peanut butter and oatmeal and let it sit for a day. Then I washed it TWICE….and cut that sucker open to see if it was clean.
Well….it now has a pocket so that all material can circulate in the wash and get clean ;-)
I started sewing them in my home for other moms, they loved them and the rest is history.
I love what I do. And I will keep on creating new and innovative products to solve problems. Stay tuned for what comes next…..

Diapering in a failing economy
So this is why people should really be looking at switching their diapering choice to a reusable brand. Cloth diapers are totally progressive these days and super cool and easy to use. No excuses! But what makes sense in a hurting economy is what you can do to save money in the long run. Using a FuzziBunz brand diaper and making that your entire system will save almost $3500 over the course of 3 years. Plus you are greening your baby's legacy and doing something more healthy for them.
Retailers that sell cloth diapers really do need to feel that call to action to educate consumers on how they can be more frugal and try to offset the initial "scary" cost by doing diaper of the month clubs, lay away programs, diaper buy backs, exchanges and be creative about getting moms in cloth with not such a high initial investment. Parents can start slow and have a full stash in about 3-6 weeks if planning accordingly. And then what? NO MORE buying sposie diapers that cost a fortune that go straight in the trash. Talking about flushing your money down the toilet right?
To really get into the ins and outs of the cost savings. View this document. It will certainly open your eyes. http://www.fuzzibunz.com/pdf/uncovering-the-costs.pdf
Join the frugal train - cloth diaper. You will love it.
